So here we are in 2015 and the latest updates from my artistic path are so exciting that i can't help but share it with you... One of my paintings was chosen to be on the cover of yearly catalog for 3 social activity centers in Aarhus. I have been delighted to hold an exhibition in one of them from January until March 2015 and very pleased to make new art friends among art enthusiasts that supported me with this first exhibit in Aarhus. Here are some photos from the exhibition... I am about to become a mom for the second time , so i took a little time and made this 3 funny paintings hoping they will entertain a newcomer as well as my curious 18 month old explorer who is mad about animals ! And Last but not the least ... i have a huge desire to develop a project dedicated to Aarhus, this city inspire me with it's vibrant colors, liveliness, nature and happy mood. Here is the starting point - Aarhus skyline panorama.

Can't help myself taking photos of all the flourishing Danish flowers in search of inspiration. What should i paint next?
Ten things that make me happy this summer : 1. I have been admitted to Business Academy Aarhus, that means i am going to be officially a student again from august ! Meet new people, learn new things …excited ! 2. My child has been practicing his " MAMA" word for last couple of days and every time i hear it my hear melts. Every day he learns something new and that is just amazing precious moments. 3. The weather has been great and the water in the sea is warm that means a beach season in Denmark is open! 4. Just had a lovely cruise around Baltic sea with my family and enjoyed every minute of it. 5. Had a really nice short trip to Frederecia and stayed in a very romantic historical hotel that was full of paintings, porcelain and other interesting staff which was so nice that i even got a souvenir teapot +teacup for one. Every tea cup i drink just got even more pleasing. 6. Besides all the blooming flowers and birds singing I just love watching strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, gooseberry, black and red currant grow while walking around my garden. 7. Looking forward for trips to Spain and Bulgaria later this summer. 8. Expecting my lovely friends to come and visit me. 9. Stopped breastfeeding and now i can enjoy my dinner with Wine that i missed for over a year. 10. Last but not the least…my new project is finally coming to life …the website is born…www.aarhuscityguide.com And how is your summer treating you? Best wishes ! It started last spring, on our trip to Copenhagen, there was this fantastic Magnolia tree in full bloom in the garden, totally breathtaking! We were on the road, so by the time we came home it was just a nice memory. Best memories are there to stay, and great ones evolve with time and inspire. This spring i suddenly realize that magnolia trees are blooming in almost every Danish garden ! I have no choose but praise it's beauty and not only have i painted the adorable flowers, but also happily planted two of Magnolia trees in my own garden today… Here is the link to my photography works, you can buy them online. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as i enjoyed making them!
We are almost there! It feels like a very special time, with one month to go every sense is getting sharper, happiness, excitement and anticipation are mixed with fear. Big belly means lot's of rolling in bed at night, and that time for the artist means fountain of creative ideas. Really hoping to get them out on canvas as soon as possible. Like most moms to be my attention is on kids art and nature miracles that surround us. Planning to create photography web site and share my projects since i have always been overwhelmed with inspiration from my travels and macro photography. Looking forward to a smooth transition, reaching new emotional highs and inspiration that motherhood is providing so generously. Happy summer everyone! I have been told many people find it hard to understand abstract art. I guess you never go wrong if you trust your intuition, you like it or you don't. Simple. However, you might be surprised that most of the art is much more likable, once you know something about it, no need to have a degree in art history, just a bit of curiosity. I decided to call this piece " Thoughts verse Ideas". How often do we have many bright thoughts, like little colorful sparks, yet how few become ideas...Great ideas come as a stripe, wiping off all the irrelevant staff. Most new ideas they are wide and light, the more specific and narrow they become, the more deep. I have chosen green, as the color of everything new, and an apple has always been a symbol of a great idea. Now you see so much more than dots, stripes and apple, because your curiosity got you there ! Living is like tearing through a museum. Not until later do you really start absorbing what you saw, thinking about it, looking it up in a book, and remembering - because you can't take it in all at once. Here i am, trying to organize my overwhelming experience of all the art that shaped my taste, formed my views, trained my eye to appreciate beauty and caused everlasting admiration and respect to the Masters. Huge part of it was from visiting Art museums. In the past few years i was lucky to visit a number of them all over the world, so here is my TOP 23 1) Hermitage, St.Petersburg Russia. 2) Musee D' Orsay, Paris. 3) Louvre, Paris. 4) Museo National del Prado, Madrid. 5) Viktoria&Albert museum, London. 6) The British museum, London. 7) Museo Reina Sofia, Madrid. 8) The Russian museum, St.Petersburg. 9) Musei Vaticani, Vatican. 10) Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam. 11) Tretyakov State Gallery, Moscow. 12) Galleria nazionale d'Arte Moderna, Rome. 13) Tate Britain, London. 14) Centre Pompidou, Paris. 15) Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, Copenhagen. 16) National Gallery of Denmark, Copenhagen 17) Victoria museum, Melbourne 18) Albertina, Vienna. 19) Van Gogh museum, Amsterdam 20) Figueres Dali Theatre-museum, Figueres. 21) Aros museum, Aarhus. 22) The National Gallery, Oslo. 23) Museum of Islamic Art, Doha P.S. The most inspirational cities i ever been to is Barcelona, St.Petersburg, Rome, Paris and Venice. They can't be described by Art museums, because they are ART themselves. Note, i haven't been to any museum of USA or Japan so they are not included in my listing, i am looking forward to see them in the near future. My list is very subjective, but i would be delighted if you share your experience with me and let me know which art museums do you enjoy the most ?
